Old

A friend is in town so a bunch of us went to dinner with him tonight. Some of us knew him back in university and worked together for a few years before he moved to Hong Kong. Now he is married and has a daughter. It is interesting how our conversation 'degrade' through the years. It used to be about exam and homework and projects. Or talking about which instructor knew how to teach and which sucked. Then when we all graduated and started working, it was about projects and managers and company. This time when we sat down and talk, it was all about weddings and kids. Some of us are getting married this year and some of us already have kids. So the whole dinner was catching up, talking about wedding planning and their kids. I felt so old. I bet couple years later, our topics will become which school kids should go to, or which talent class they should go. Aiii...where did all the talk about worry-free dreams goes!
